一回しかない人生、ちっちゃく生きずに、大志を抱こう

「Boys and girls, be ambitious !

　　Be ambitious not for money or for selfish aggrandizement, nor for that evanescent
　　thing which men call fame.
　　Be ambitious for knowledge, for righteousness, and for the uplift of your people.
　　Be ambitious for the attainment of all that a man ought to be.

　　にでもなく。
　　知識のために、正義のために、人々の向上のために、大志を抱け。
　　人としてあらねばならぬすべてのことを達成するために、大志を抱け。」

　金のために生きると、必ずこけます。利己的人間には、必ず限界があります。その時々の時代の風潮に流されずに、自らの使命を追求し続けましょう。流行は必ず去ります。咲いた花は必ず枯れます。
